Yes. Unlimited cloaking + preview with no account, and up to about 10 translations a day in this app (a fair-use allowance, not a hard guarantee), no account needed. It's the same detector and the same receipts as the paid tiers.
The reviewed text reaches the gateway only when you press Translate. Values detected on your device are replaced; a value the detector misses may remain as written. The map back to detected values stays in your browser. The preview does not measure egress bytes.
Yes — subscriptions are managed from your CloakAPI account and cancel at the end of the period. Your on-device cloaking keeps working regardless.
